This site was created for all of the treasure hunting and rock hounding enthusiasts in the southwestern portion of the U.S.

The southwest is home to many mines and mineral pits. Although gold is one of the most sought after minerals it isn’t the only one to get you some some $$. I have listed different gem/mineral sites along with lost mines in this region. Good luck and happy treasure hunting!
